3 Things you didn’t know about WEEE recycling
April 13, 2016
Of course, these WEEE Ireland collection days are a great way to recycle your stash of broken gadgets, appliances and waste batteries (WEEE stands for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). But beyond that, there are a few things that will give you an unexpected feel good buzz when you #recycleforgood.
- Chivalry is not dead. Our man Brian will be there, in his shining armour of hi-vis, to do the heavy lifting for you when you come along to the collection day.
- Do a cleanse that Marie (Konmarie) Kondo would be proud of. The deadline of this collection day is the best motivation to do a great spring clean. Group your items for recycle, reuse or donate.
- As you are cleansing, you will most likely find something that has been missing for about 2 years. Bonus!
WEEE Ireland operate a schedule of collection days, open to the public, where you can bring ‘anything with a plug or battery’ along for FREE recycling. Our collections schedule is on our website.
